Median Home Price in Atherton, California Reaches $2.5 Million.

Forbes.com said the median home price in Atherton, Calif., is now $2.5 million, making it the most expensive zip code in the country according to a recent study. Atherton's median home price is about 13 times the national average of $185,000 dollars for a single family home.
The community is home to many Silicon Valley tycoons including Steve Jobs (Apple Computer co-founder) & Larry Ellison (ranked No. 5 on the Forbes world's richest people list) whose house in on the market for $25 million. more »
